This is NOT your ordinary clay mask!
Made with a creamy base of local grass fed tallow and organic cold pressed hemp seed oil to soften the skin, blended with wild harvested, house distilled yarrow hydrosol to soothe redness and inflammation, and filled with slippy sea vegetables like seaweed and kelp extracts to promote healthy, glowing skin.
All of this magical goodness is combined with medicinal mushroom extracts to further address skin based inflammation, the powerful free radical scavenging abilities of carbon based fullerene, and bakuchiol and Bakuchi fruit extract, which work together as a potent, bio-natural alternative to retinol.
The main clay in this mask, hand harvested Comox glacial marine clay, is a powerful skin purifier that draws dirt and excess oil out of pours as it cleanses and detoxifies the skin.
This mask is a synergistic powerhouse that offers moisturizing, antioxidant, smoothing, and detoxifying properties all in one.
To use, apply a thin layer to clean, dry skin and allow to rest on the skin until the outer edges of the mask begin to dry, approximately 10-15 minutes. Do not allow the mask to dry completely on the skin. Remove with a warm, damp wash cloth and let the skin air dry for another five minutes. Follow with your usual cleansing/toning/moisturizing routine. This mask pairs beautifully followed by MERMAID used as a hydrating water based serum and CLOUD DANCE bakuchiol cream serum used as a lightweight moisturizer.
This mask is very potent and may cause some temporary redness/skin flushing. It should NEVER cause pain, burning, or discomfort of any kind. If these sensations occur, remove immediately and place a cool wash cloth over the skin to soothe. For sensitive skin, I recommend beginning by applying this mask for no more than three minutes and moving up to ten minutes over time.
For best results, use once a week and follow with a hydrating, hyaluronic water based product.
