Hyaluronic acid is a powerful humectant that is naturally found throughout our bodies. It is a natural lubricant for our joints, and functions in the skin to hydrate, plump, and soothe redness.
Mermaid is made with both high and low molecular weight hyaluronic acid, to increase its ability to hydrate deeper layers of the skin, as well as a variety of slippy sea vegetables and extracts (blue spirulina, seaweed, and kelp) to further hydrate, smooth, tone, and scavenge free radicals.
Finally, the addition of algae and chicory root extracts gives Mermaid some subtle skin tightening properties, further enhancing its ability to support soft, supple, smooth skin.
Created for even the most sensitive of skin types, Mermaid is scented only with the refreshing notes of neroli floral water and a gentle undertone of the ocean.
To use Mermaid, apply a thin layer to freshly cleansed skin and allow to rest for about 10 minutes. It won’t dry or form a peel away layer, and can be easily removed at the end with a warm, damp wash cloth. Wipe off, allow skin to dry, and then follow with your usual toning and/or moisturizing routine. Mermaid can also be used as a serum on freshly cleansed and toned, dry skin by simply massaging a small amount into the entire face and neck areas. Use prior to a facial oil or moisturizer.
